Deborah Anne Teel was born and raised in Jamaica, New York. She accepted Christ as her personal savior at the age of 8 years
old under Rev. Dr. Harvey E. Pasley, pastor of the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. She attended the New York City
Public School System and graduated from Plaza Business College with an Associate of Applied Science Degree. Deborah
continued her education at Nyack College where she received a Baccalaureate Degree in Organizational Management.
It was at Morning Star Baptist Church that Deborah gave her life to Christ and began her growth towards spiritual maturity.
Deborah enhanced her spiritual growth at The Morning Star Bible Institute, Antioch Bible Institute, New Greater Bethel Bible
College and the New York Theological Seminary where she received certificates in Christian Education, Bible Studies and
Community Service Chaplaincy. Minister Teel is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Theology at Andersonville
Theological Seminary.
During her tenure at the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Charles E. Betts, Sr., she
sang with the Sanctuary Choir, Mass Choir and she served as Assistant Choir Director for the Voices of Praise. God's
resourceful and busy child was able to serve on the Nurses Ministry, Pastors Aide Ministry, Floral & Hospitality Ministry and she
served as Corresponding Secretary for the Pastoral Search Committee while being active in Sunday Church School.
After relocating to North Carolina Deborah was united in Holy Matrimony to Minister of Music/Producer, Jerry Teel.
To top off her accomplishments Deborah was licensed to preach the gospel January 29, 2006 and received her decree of ordination
June 29, 2008; hence the title Reverend Deborah Teel.
She has since united with the New Birth Church in Christ, where she is serving as Assistant Pastor. To GOD be the glory!

Grace and Peace,
First, I give honor and praise to almighty God for allowing me the
opportunity to complete a project such as this. It was only by His Grace
and His Mercy that He allowed His Holy Spirit to birth the songs that are
on this CD.
Secondly, I thank the Lord for my husband Jerry Teel for having faith in
me and to encourage me to complete this project. I thank you for all the
time and effort he has spent putting this package together. For the Bible
says in Proverbs 18: that a man that finds a wife, finds a good thing…well,
I have a jewel in him.
I dedicate this CD to my children. I want to encourage them and let them
know that through their struggles in life, the Lord is working His work in
them to refine them, as pure gold, so that they will be victorious, as the
Lord would have all of His children to be.
I love the Lord, for He has heard my cry and has inclined His ear unto
me. For it is only by His Grace and His Mercy that I can testify, as a
living witness, how he has brought me out of darkness and into the
marvelous light.
To everyone, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I pray that
this project touches your heart as it has touched mine when the Holy
Spirit gave me these songs.
May the Lord continue to bless and keep you.
